Halo 3 gets a released date

Many people are anxious on when Halo 3 will be released. The popular first person shooter game has been buzzing lately and Microsoft plays its PR card pretty well by allowing some public-beta on its Halo 3 multi-player starting today and releasing Zune Halo 3 edition.

Halo 3 is set to be release on September 25th later this year, and Microsoft claimed it would be bigger than any movie launch history. The Halo trilogy is one of the games that Microsoft hoping will help Xbox 360 gain market share.

Halo 2 was released in November 2004 and set a record on sales earning around $125 million within the first 24 hours of its released. Microsoft is hoping to repeat the same or better success with Halo 3.
