If you’re a fellow Helio Ocean owner like myself, you’ll be happy to know that you now have a choice when it comes to web browsers. Not that there is anything really wrong with the current one, but having choices is always good.

Ocean with Opera Mini

The guys over at Heliocity have hacked up a version of Opera Mini 4 that will work on your Ocean. This may not seem like big news, since you’ve been able to use Opera Mini on your Ocean for some time now. The big difference is that it now has full support for both landscape mode and the QWERTY keyboard.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try this out yet, but I’ll let you know how it goes when I do. If you’ve got an Ocean and some free time, it might be worth checking out. They’ve also added an IRC client for the Ocean if you’re into that.
