Computers are bound to revolt against us and take over the world one day. If books and movies are anything to go by, it’s only a matter of “when,” not “if.” This mod is obviously taking the first step in that direction.
So maybe being able to beat people at Pong isn’t going to lead to a worldwide computer revolt. This person set up a pretty cool rig that allows the computer to visually see the ball moving and react accordingly. It’s one thing to make a computer that plays a game. It’s another to make one that plays based off of visual input.
You know what they’re always saying about kids who play video games. It tends to make them more violent, so what happens when a computer plays video games?
