2016 Chevrolet Volt gallery

Forget everything you think you know about the Chevy Volt. The all-new 2016-second gen is freshly designed from inside out including a brand new powertrain. At the heart of the Volt is a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder, direct –injected, aluminum block engine. It pumps out 101 horsepower with an increase of 21 lb-ft to 294. The gasoline only engine has a 42-mpg and the electric motor gets 53 EV miles for a combined 420 miles.

Overall, the new Volt's styling is more refined and looks grown up. The interior feels upscale especially for a hybrid. Sticker price starts at $33,995. Price as tested $40,225.
