Remember that I told you about the upcoming Guitar Hero DLC? Well one of the packs listed was for the Isle of Wight Festival. To be perfectly honest, I’d never heard of such a music festival before. As it turns out, the UK music festival starts today and Guitar Hero will be there.

Isle of Wight

Over the next three days, some very lucky fans will have the chance to rock out on stage with their favorite guitar-themed game. You’ll have to earn your way to the stage, where you’ll play in front of thousands of screaming fans with the game being projected on a huge screen behind you. You really can’t do much better than that without actually becoming a rock star.

As you already know, Activision released three tracks earlier this week which included tracks from past and present performers of the show.  If you can’t make it to the real thing, you can still download the tracks and be there in spirit.
