I wouldn’t call myself a Guitar Hero addict, despite what my friends and family might say. Anywho, the final track for the upcoming Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock title has been announced as The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Devil went down to georgia

Now anyone that’s heard the song (who hasn’t?) is going to call bullshit, as the song is centered around fiddling, and the game is Guitar Hero, not Fiddle Hero. Fear not, the fiddle section has been converted to guitar for maximum rocking.

If you found that a bit hard to swallow, you’re never going to believe this one. The song is now metal. That’s right, we’re talking about the same song here. The track has been completely redone, and sounds almost nothing like the Charlie Daniels version that you know and love. Hit the link for some audio and be warned, there is only one word that describes this song. Brutal.
