Guitar Hero DS - Closer to reality than you think

Remember not too long ago when someone submitted their idea for Guitar Hero on the DS? Apparently they were only slightly ahead of the curve, as Red Octane has announced that they want to put the title on the highest-selling mobile gaming platform.

While I’m still quite skeptical of the whole thing, I’m certainly not opposed to giving it a shot whenever it gets around to being released. Red Octane has said that they are considering different types of peripherals for the game as it is “an integral part of the Guitar Hero experience.”

I’m still curious what type of peripheral would give me the realistic Guitar Hero experience while not being so bulky that I wouldn’t mind carrying it around with me. Only time will tell.
