I always thought that the popular version of Ballroom Blitz was done by Sweet and Radar Love was by Golden Earing… Guess I’m stuck in the 70’s or something :)

Actually you are right about radar love, it was done by golden earing as for ballroom blitz, I only remember it from Wayne’s World when Tia Carrera’s band was playing it. Party On!!

Yeah, Ballroom Blitz was originally done by Sweet and Radar Love was originally done by Golden Earring but in Los Angeles on KNAC (the most popular metal station in the 80’s) Krokus and White Lion covered the songs and had modest popularity with their versions. I think maybe it was a lot cheaper to license the covers than the original songs. Too bad, although I do like the Krokus version almost as much as the original.

I agree, they were much better when done by Sweet and Golden Earring. Personally, I couldn’t stand White Lion’s cover of Radar Love, I thought they botched it. The good thing is that neither of those tracks is a master track. I’m hoping their cover band does a better job.

Ugh… It’s so unfair that this game is just for the PS2… why can’t they make one for the 360? And also, doesn’t Sweet do Ballroom Blitz?
