GTA V for PC delayed until April 10, Rockstar offers in-game cash

For those of you eagerly counting down to the release date of Grand Theft Auto V on PC, you may have to wait a bit longer. Although console players have been playing the game since its release on PS4 and Xbox One late last year, the PC version is taking its sweet time. Rockstar Games has announced that GTA V for PC will be launched on April 14th, 2015. For pre-order customers this may be excruciating, but Rockstar has conceded and is giving its pre-order customers an extra $200,000 in-game cash.

Rockstar claims that GTA V for PC is their, "most graphically and technically advanced version yet." So, it is taking some additional time to perfect. This isn't their first delay for GTA V for PC. The game was originally supposed to launch as a simultaneous release with the console versions back in late 2014. Then, it was delayed to January 27th, then March 24th, and most recently April 14th, 2015.

Rockstar is behind some of the most heavily anticipated games, but their development timetable is always rushed. Delays like this can be more frustrating for customers than if the game simply had a later release date. At least Rockstar seems to realize the inconvenience and that people just really want to play their games.

If pre-order customers will now get $200,000 in-game cash, and the game isn't available to actually order, then perhaps it's not too late to jump on the pre-order bandwagon and snag that extra $200,000 in game cash. I'm not sure what the going rate for in-game illicit materials is, but it sounds like enough to buy have a good time.
