Gresso Radical smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 and quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU

Gresso is the maker of some high-end smartphones that are known more for their style than performance. The smartphones from the company are often very expensive as well. One of the last smartphones from Gresso that we mentioned was earlier this year when the Cruiser Titanium was unveiled at a price of $2500.

Gresso has rolled out a new smartphone called the Gresso Radical. The Radical runs the Android 4.1.2 operating system. The smartphone is also equipped with a 1.2HGHz quad-core processor. The screen of the Radical is 4.5-inches and the smartphone has an 8MP camera.

The camera features auto-focus, digital zoom, and a flash. The camera can also record full HD resolution video. The Radical has 36GB of internal storage. Like the other smartphones from Gresso, the Radical is more about style and materials than performance. Gresso says that the body is made of a solid titanium plate. Each smartphone body takes 9 hours to complete.

The final polishing of the titanium body is done by hand and takes four hours. The back of the phone is made from titanium with a Gorilla Glass insert. The logo can be done in 18K white and yellow gold if wanted. The keys of the smartphone are made from titanium, which Gresso says is a first. The phone will be shown at CES 2014 and production is limited to 999 units. The smartphone will sell for $2000.
