As the April launch of the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV grows steadily closer, more details are coming in. The latest bit of news is that the ESRB has finally given the game it’s official rating.

If you’re not 17, don’t bother trying to buy this game. That is unless you think that they’ll sell it to you, then who am I to stop you? The ESRB gave the game an official “M” rating citing “Partial Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, Blood, and Intense Violence.”

Some people had suspected that the board would be exceptionally harsh on the title after their dealings with both San Andreas and Manhunt 2. Thankfully that does not appear to be the cease.
