Gourmia GKM9000 multi-cooker kitchen machine cuts, mixes, and cooks

If you like to cook and are a sucker for kitchen gadgets like me, the IoT WiFi connected Gourmia GK9000 multi-cooker might get you excited about dinner. This device has a color screen, WiFi connectivity, and a mobile app that lets you check on how your food is doing. That app means you don't have to get up from the Walking Dead to see if your dinner is coming along.

The GKM9000 has step-by-step guides with pre-programmed recipes that handle every aspect of making the food from chopping to mixing and cooking. The user only has to add the ingredients, push a few buttons, and let the cooker handle the rest. The integrated 7-inch LCD gives instructions for each recipe with visual and audio alerts to keep you apprised on the cooking process.

The device has an integrated scale so it knows when you have the right amount of an ingredient in the cooker. The mobile app can be used to download additional recipes of the web and you can create your own recipes and shopping lists. The GKM9000 can be used for cooking pasta, rice, vegetables, soup, sauces, steaming fish and other items, and grinding nuts. If you aren't afraid of carbs, the machine can also knead dough. It can whip cream, grate vegetables, cheeses or chocolate.

Other uses include making smoothies or adult beverages. It can also crush ice, powder sugar, and perform other functions. A special steaming mode allows a complete meal to be cooked in a single step. The cooker measures 18" W x 12" D x 20" H and weighs 22 pounds. It's not exactly small and nether is the price at $599.99. It will ship in Q2 and sounds as if it might save busy homes some time.
