GoPro WiFi BacPac with remote available now

The GoPro is capable of capturing some excellent action shots for such a small and portable camera, but activating and controlling one while you're on the move can be a bit of a chore. The company is now shipping the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit, allowing users to control the camera using smartphones and tablets, as well as via the waterproof remote control.

The BacPac attaches to GoPro cameras in order to enable WiFi connectivity, while the wearable remote can control up to 50 cameras from 600 feet away. Not only that, but you can now livestream video from the GoPro to a smartphone or tablet, allowing a third party to keep an eye on the action while it's happening. GoPro say that a future software update will let users stream video directly to the web too.

GoPro say that the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit is available now on GoPro.com plus in retail stores. The kit will set you back $99.99.
