Are you sure? Amazon either breaks even or loses a few bucks on each Fire it sells. In reality if a manufacturer can make a decent profit at an under $200 price point, the tablet is pretty much going to be a piece of junk.

inexpensive is relative to what the users can pay not what the manufacturer thinks its worth.
