Google could have used some of the Moto expertise in dealing with media companies in this deal.

Ross, they said the Hulu app was coming out on my Evo 3D VERY SOON however I have been waiting months and there is not even news on it. It’s everyone vs everyone in the media industry and that means it’s everyone vs the consumer unfortunately.

I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.

Not only for Google TV (which is incredible, despite its lackluster sales) but also for Hulu’s expansion into international markets. Hulu was had difficulty expanding beyond the U.S. because it doesn’t have established relationships with international advertising agencies. Since Google’s main revenue source is advertising, it would allow for the rapid growth of Hulu worldwide.

I think It’s Google’s long running piracy issues with.YouTube and indexing of torrents and illegal downloads that make media companies standoffish..

Google makes mega money off piracy.. always has.. any movie download site is plastered top to bottom with Google ads..

Media companies want Google to stop this.. they know Google could nip piracy in the bud overnight.. but they won’t.. so the media giants like Viacom despise Google and won’t play ball..

Honestly putting googles name on hulu will probably kill it.. but it would show they are trying..
