Maybe this is ultimately a good thing because the Wave tech can be put to better and more widespread use than a stand-alone web service that doesn’t really tie into anything else.
I’d really love to see part of the functionality added to Gmail, hoping that Google learned important lessons from Buzz’s botched launch for the next time.
