you can still use it on a rooted device, they just don’t support you doing so. it still works

Security flaws only exist if you’re a moron, have your phone lost/stolen, and have it lost/stolen by someone who knows how to hack and access information on it.

This is another reason I will never go back to an Android phone!! So many security flaws, malware everywhere, battery life and fragmentation

Android is pretty slapped together as it is but an unrooted Android phone is indeed unusable.

So the only way to use Google Wallet is to return your phone to it’s original unusable state? No thanks. I’ll be keeping my real wallet with real cash (however little), thank you very much.

Who in his/her right mind would run an unrooted Android phone anyway? Might as well use a dumbphone… or a brick.
