Well, that's nice. However, I have several gift cards, collectively with about $90 in unused credit on them. These days, I ask family members to send me cash because it's accepted everywhere, and spends easier. But my favorite place to shop is actually on Craigslist. There's nothing better than meeting someone face to face, talking to them, and not feeling like you'll be pushed aside for the next sale.

Plus, Cash is King in this economy, and if you have cash, you can haggle, which is better than a "10% off my next 'full priced' purchase"!

As a country it seems we've forgotten how to haggle, and Google Wallet makes sure that the only haggling that occurs is similar to what WalMart does- haggle with the suppliers. Good luck getting $100.00 worth of product at WalMart when you have a $90 in credit across 4 gift cards! But if you have $90 in cash, well, you may be able to buy that thing you want, especially on Craigslist!

Besides, what can you buy for $2.00 at Jamba Juice? (in the picture) Maybe I could purchase that discounted coupon item, if I had another $1 in my real wallet to cover tax.
