TV in picture only works with SAT TV, would of been nice if that was published since I am stuck with comcast. NOTHING on the Net plays with this box such as HULU and any “free” tv sites don’t play either. Would be better off with a laptop. This is the most disapointing purchase I have made; was happier with NEXT STEP; Bought it because of SONY and GOOGLE brand names and both are now soured to me.

Keep it at that $119 or lower and maybe it would be a great Impuse purchase. But at this point ROKU’s keep getting cheaper and are now officer Subscription products besides the Netflix etc. So that’s where the money will be with these products.. subscription services.
Getting folks in the Door is their Job..

I am blown away that you MUST buy a device to get this tool!

It is SOFTWARE folks!

I have been running “free” TV in my living room using a middle of the road PC and an open-source “Media Center” product for over 3 years now!

Originally with a wireless keyboard/trackpad on the coffee table – now with an iPad and RDP to remote control the PC.

The Google TV app looks interesting with it’s integration of functionality and app platform into one UI (I have to deal with two; Windows, and the Media Center). But I don’t NEED a new computer (this one works fine, thank you) – I don’t NEED to integrate cable/satellite/digital broadcast, because I don’t USE them. And my 50″ panel is fine thank you (Sony only has up to 46″ for GTV).

Give me a download Google!

1. Does it have internal Wifi, or does it need an ethernet cord?
2. Will I be able to stream content to it such as NBA LEAGUE PASS via broadband (i.e. No cable or dish company involved, just my high speed internet)?
