For the same reason you don’t leave your door wide open at night, or leave your wallet on the sidewalk, you don’t openly broadcast your personal information over an unprotected network. To blame Google for collecting data you obviously left scattered in a hundred foot or so radius from your home is ludacris. Put a password on your network and stop blaming others for your failures.
