I'm looking forward to a tablet running chrome someday. Still while cloud computing is cool, I do like to have local copies of my stuff as well; I don't see my NAS going away anytime soon.

This should be the main selling point of the Chrome computer. They should be dirt cheap, around 250 or less, so that you can buy them by the bundle. All your data, info and applications will be on the cloud. You use your Chrome Computer to interact with them in the cloud. If one computer is stolen, brakes or runs away, you get another one, logs in and keep on working. The learning curve would be small and a one time thing, from there on the computer itself would be invisible, just a way to connect to the cloud, and your place in it. For situations where you need local applications and a lot of computer power, the conventional PC would do. For everything else, there is Master... I mean the Chrome Computer.
