I wish people would stop and think. Guns have been around since well before video games. Wars aka shooting people that don’t deserve it have been going on for how long? Well a hell of lot longer than video games. So all this talk about video games are the problem is bull #$%@. Maybe parents should raise there kids better. Or just maybe we shouldn’t let the government tell us what we can and can’t do. Just maybe if people started using there hart and brain instead of only there brain we could have a more peaceful life instead of cayose and greed. So I would like to say thanx to everyone who adds to these problems. Lets all play the blame game! I blame my mom for putting me in a crap filled life but have I killed my self or anyone eles because of it? No of course not because i can control my self vary well and i play video games. Please people stop hiding behind whats not real and snap back into reality.

Shooting an enemy force that’s shooting back at you is one thing but creating a game where you go around blasting people that are just walking down the street is just dysfunctional.

I think it could have given a whole lot of bad press to google they just dont need. Just look at the attack in Belgium yesterday you can see how this would be picked up by the papers

Well, it does uses sounds from Battlefield 3, so maybe DICE / EA should sue them too HAHA :p

I don’t get what those shootings have to do with anything (there was a misguided speculative story with no real fact made about how video games supposedly influenced the killings despite no link having actually been made), and I don’t see the problem with this game, just another silly time-waster-no-harm-done. It mightn’t be in excellent taste, but neither are Family Guy or the Cleveland Show, two animated television shows that are broadcast on standard television (if you like them that’s fine, I’m not judging or saying they’re bad, but they aren’t politically correct by a longshot).

This reminds me of things like the little desktop destroyers you could get back on older windows computers, and kids in the back of a car on a long trip pretending they’re in a car chase “shooting” at all the other “enemy” cars with their index fingers.

There’s chance for misuse on the personal level, but I think in reality this was taken down due to different complications, since I can’t see a clear reason for taking it down other than trying to avoid bad press (not that it truly matters, the people are blurred out and if someone is using it as “training” for a real-world nefarious plot, the last thing you want to worry about is an internet video game! If that’s what it comes down to I’m surprised the human race wasn’t wiped out the moment jill hit jack on the head with a stick!)
