Google Play Summer Sale arrives - for real this time

Back on July 23rd, 2014, we saw the first collection of early mentions of the Google Play Summer event. This event would have a number of apps, movies, and music tapped for lower prices than usual, all wrapped up in one handy package. As it turns out, the time is now, and it's not quite so cut and dry.

You'll be able to jump in on a couple of sets of media here, all hosted by Google Play. There's a movie collection as well as a Music Collection, while Google's book collection link appears to be down for the count – we'll let you know when it's back.

Here you'll find such winners as Unorthodox Jukebox by Bruno Mars, Because The Internet by Childish Gambino, and Ultraviolence by Lana Del Rey – all full albums, all for less than $5 apiece. You might also want to have a peek at The Roots, Aloe Blacc, and Skrillex, because that's the kind of person you are.

There's also a limited amount of Apps and Games you're going to want to check out. If the app is free, chances are the in-app purchases within are discounted. Make with the tapping.
