All you have to do is run “fastboot oem unlock”. That’s it.

It is NOT rooting. It is unlocking the bootloader. The phone comes rooted.

Addtionally, it took way less that 24 hours… Anyone with half a brain tried ‘fastboot oem unlock’ as soon as they got home.
