I bought the G1 at launch and the Nexus One within week one, when i saw there was new open phone by Google I was already scheming in my head about how to get my wife to not kill me when i buy it. Then I saw the specs... the good news, it pushes out a new technology. which will hopefully get adopted in other new phones. It pushes out a newer release of android. and I can avoid putting myself on the divorce block at least for a few more months until a phone comes by that's worthy of replacing my nexus one.

This phone is not worthy of the google or nexus name

The Pre 2 has a 1 GHZ processor with native CPU scaling to conserve battery life. When it came out the consensus was that it was too slow and couldn't compete with modern phones. Now, months later, this phone is announced and everyone is going to go ape shit over it. Doesn't make sense to me, especially when I think that webOS is a superior platform based on speed (with this new processor running it) and pure usability. Just my opinion though. Engage attacks now.
