Kind of dramatic, and not very accurate. The average consumer isn’t aware iOS has a newer app, and if they did know, they wouldn’t care — much less be ‘up-in-arms’. Geeks who read and write tech blogs? Maybe. The masses of device purchasing consumers who actually matter? Not so much…

Knowing that it’ll eventually be out for android, most likely sooner rather than later, who really does care? Slow news day?

Where are android users furious? The most I’ve seen is a “they should’ve waited to release both-the Android one with the extra features of course” sort of opinion.

Hang on a sec. I’ve not used an iPhone since the 3G, so enlighten me here;

What if I don’t use Twittwat or Basefook?! Will I still be bombarded with their icons or empty (since I don’t have accounts with them) notification stuff on an current and future gen iPhones?
