Fake names get annoying, and reporting people that have pseudonyms and “wacky” characters never works. Google+ does have a space in the “About” section for other names. Use it.

I have had a Gmail account since 2004 and have maintained the Google Profile name “Bendrix” looooong before Google+ was an inkling – It appears that the profile that I thoughtful and carefully crafted has been removed from public online viewing. Which is somewhat of an embarrassment since I proclaimed officially in a public setting that Google+ was my new home and that I would no longer will be a member of Facebook after August (So much for that claim)… to top it off I have several webpages linking to my Google Profile. see Twitter & Facebook

Here’s the reality. I am not a spammer, impersonator or someone who
is bringing shame to the Google+ community. I am someone who has been a
long standing Beta tester, a leader and extraordinarily gracious and
helpful participant in the social media landscape for more than 6 years.
I also happen to be one of a small handful of people in the G+
community who has spent my free-precious time crafting Google+ video
tutorials and helping people get a better grip on the Google+ service.
My promoting of the Google+ service and tutorials alone are worthy
enough merits to have me reinstatement… My video Tutorials and Get Started Basics segment 
is not only FREE marketing for Google+ but it adds authenticity and
value to  Google’s brand equity by not having the corporate spin on it. I
realize that Google would loose nothing by rejecting my “Bendrix”
moniker or deleting my account permanently… I realize that I am not the
only one who is experiencing this.. i understand that there are bound to
be casualties in their evolution process… and I don’t take it
personal because this is a beta after all and there are bound to be
snags like this and I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt – BUT – moving forward Google+ will need to get this under control or it
could be quite disastrous for their PR team… Especially since they
will be opening this up to the masses very soon.
