Not only are there tons of alternatives out there to google products, but Google already gives you the option to opt out of much of their tracking and how your data is shared between services. Add to that, that google is does not share this data with outside companies (they are not selling it to marketers). I might not be naive enough to believe that google is some sort of force for good in the world, but they are surely a LOT more trust worthy and less abusive of consumers than an other major tech company that I'm aware of.

That is why this is so silly. There are plenty of alternatives, including many FREE alternatives, to using the Google machine. Its as simple as just not using it, or deleting your account. It would be different if Google was doing this without notifying the user and if it was offering at as a paid service. But every time I add something to my Google account or download a new app it clearly states what Google has access to. I accept it because their service is FREE and phenomenal compared to the competition.

If someone is worried that how they act one Google site will be used against them on another Google site? It's simple have multiple accounts. I have 5 Google accounts and have for many years now. But over time with the security Google has given me I have really only used 2 for the most part and mainly just one most of the time. This is a non issue for me.

Your so called "Privacy Dashboard" is a cryptic, convoluted mess to the layman.
Just give people the option to check a "Do not mine my data or habits in any way, shape or form!!" for all their accounts.
