Google could have very well said “We already offer an opt out page.” but because the article is written from the writers point of view they say “Google believes”.

Anyway a bit of a sensationalist title again. There is no “revolt”(which would imply a severe backlash), its just the EU asking for time before they allow it.

So everyone is up in arms that Google wants to consolidate everything through one sign in page but the lawmakers are demanding that Google create a single opt out page WITHOUT REALIZING THEY ARE DEMANDING THE SAME THING THEY ARE DEMANDING GOOGLE TO STOP. Politicians are retarted and only exposing their puppet masters.

Ummm I don’t think Google has to believe it is offering something. Usually someone offering something is offering something. They don’t have to believe they are offering it. Its a very strange statement.
