No thank Google. A lot of people are getting their TV online now instead of through cable. I cut the cord last year and have been watching TV online with the TVDevo website and Redbox. TVDevo for TV shows and Live TV, and Redbox for movies.

What will make them different from the rest that offer bundled ripoff nonsense to the public? I had access to 200 channels and watched less than 5 so I decided to go with Netflix on Roku box. The only thing that will make Google TV stand out is if they offer an a la carte system where people can choose individual channels. If Google TV will just be like DIRECTV or Comcast why would I prefer them over the established guys. A la carte pay TV is an idea who's time has come. If not Google someone else with money will begin mining that gold mine very soon

How about free cable TV and you split the money with TV studios from ads?!? Oh, what a concept. Google, how about showing that you're not the greedy, selfish corporation like the rest of Wall Street?
