Alot of apps I bought awhile ago and then want to re-downloaded it for my new device and it told me I needed to repurchase it again. WTF? The system is a mess. That’s why I went with Amazon Apps Store so all my purchase is safe to re-download again.

Those of you complaining must not have young kids who purchaced inapp content without their parents knowing. If the kid purchases the same content over and over again, the thirdy party vendor do not hesitate to bill multiple times. Google can not nothing about it…

Makes sense to me… it is a security thing as well. I have no doubt that Google wants to make sure it gets its 30%, but this also means that you do not have to worry about some poorly written app sending credit card info unecrypted or giving it out to some scam payment service. I mean, I understand that PayPal should be fine in general, but this route goes around the possibility of anything going wrong that is outside Google’s control.
Would you trust a credit card reader in Walmart if it belonged to one of the employees there instead of Walmart?
