Argh, If you want to link to an article, link the *name* of the article, not the name of the blog it is on.

Right: “I found an [a]article about slime molds[/a] on the internet”.
Wrong: “I found an article about slime molds on the [a]internet[/a]“.

It’s terribly annoying to have to hunt for the source of your article on random words, especially since you tend to link half of them to useless tags. And don’t take it personally, most bloggers seem to have a difficult time grasping that concept. And it’s infuriating.

Uhm looking the same as on my Gal Nexus = lots of wasted scaling on my Nexus 7. So yes, they (some, not all) do look pretty terrible, imho.

although they are not “tablet optimized” do they look terrible on your tablet? NO, they look the same as on your phone–so if Google simply renamed it, you wouldn’t even know the difference.

This is so simple. all Google has to do is do what apple did when the iPad came out. instead of telling Devs to make tablet optimized apps, just tell devs to update their existing apps for larger screens–overnight we’d see hundreds if not thousands of Android tablet “optimized” apps.

Im not a developer and dont know the fist thing about writing code–I still believe though, that its quite simple to update an existing with higher res graphics.

What Google REALLY needs to do is set the example themselves. How many Google apps are not tablet optimized? Like Google Finance, Google Schemer, Google Shopper, Google Goggles, Google Translate, Google Analytics…

About bloody time. Maybe Google should of got off their arse and paid for some developers to make the apps. It’s the number one reason that is holding up the uptake of Android tablets. The tablets are good but the lack of apps suck.
