Look at all the shills ganging up. Anyone care to explain where exactly Google services have failed you?

"Google has bad reputation of infringement in terms of personal data collections" -- Cathy
"Microsoft offers better services." -- Damon
"Everything what Google does is just hobby, except search." -- Serg
"Google makes toys that just should not be used in a professional evironment." -- VedX

As you see above, there's nothing of any substance, only "testimonials" that any paid shill can easily come up with.

I have no investments in either Google or Microsoft so I am willing to let myself be convinced; however, I need real arguments and not void claims such as the ones above.

I tried to switch my company over from Outlook to Google Apps and that was the biggest error of my life. Google is great for free home based email but it's just not stable enough for corporate use and there is no decent support. I had all kinds of gripes against MS because of little bugs and quirks and just because I wanted to be part of the hype, but Google made me understand. Google makes toys that just should not be used in a professional evironment. Any idiot that has any experience would know this and the fact Google is complaining the US government is not using their half-baked services to send sensitive materials shows how deluded they are.

As a principal in a smaller provider of cloud computing than either Microsoft, Amazon, or Google, I can say that the government is definitely tilting the advantage towards certain providers which it has traditionally favored. 18 months ago the Obama administration appointed Vivek Kundra as national CIO, who in turn announced that the traditional closed-bid/preferred vendor methods of contracting wouldn't apply to the government's move towards cloud computing. My company participated with over 20 cloud companies in a symposium in Washington where this was announced. Yet, like many of the promises of the Obama Administration, here we are 18 months later with everything "business as usual" - and the bulk of the participants at the symposium not having received any government business, with it going instead to their traditional suppliers.

The CEO of google isn't a cry baby; he's speaking the truth.
