I don’t hate cell phones, but if for some reason you do or just feels like throwing a cell phone on the open field, you are welcome to take part in phone throwing championships.

GoldenPalace phone throwing Championships

The event was held at the Old Hamptonians Rugby Club to raise funds for 8th day UK, a London bases social club. For 5 pounds, participant will be given 3 phones to be thrown as far as they could.

A record of 95.08 meters was set by Chris Hughff, the previous record for the furthest phone throwing was 94.97 meters set by Mikko Lampi from Vilppula, Findland in 2005 during the Mobile Phone Throwing World Championships.
