Once again someone has taken a decent product and smothered it in diamonds. Then of course we here on Slashgear can’t resist writing it up, because we enjoy laughing at the price and well there is that whole shiny factor. The shiny always sucks you in, this time at least it’s not just diamonds, it’s gold too.

gold and diamond iPhone case

No, not solid gold, the case is made with 42 diamonds (3.5 carats) set in 18K gold and embedded in a rare gold carbon fiber leather case. The diamonds are superior quality with VVS1 clarity and H color (yah, I have no idea what that means either). It also comes complete with a fancy-schmancy 18K gold emblem.

The case itself is crafted from carbon fiber leather, which is featured in fancy-schmancy cars of course. Quantities are extremely limited, therefore I will be rushing off right this moment to order mine. Right, and at the same time I’ll swear off video games and prance around in business suits all day. The case is being sold for the iPhone for $20,000.
