The Sherpa 50 by Goal ZERO offers a way to power all of you peripherals from one lightweight portable hub. It only weighs in at 0.9 lbs - half the weight of the previous model. It has a 50 watt power capacity, and is obviously small enough to slip into your backpack or handbag.

The power port doesn't just offer AC and DC outputs, but also USB and multiple laptop charging ports. But the main feature of the Sherpa 50 is the ability to of charging the pack via the solar panel. It only takes 5-10 hours to charge through the solar panel, but if time is of the essence you can plug it in and reach maximum capacity within 2-3 hours.

To give you an idea of how much longer the pack will give your devices - it will give your iPad or tablet device an extra two hours of entertainment. For a smart phone, it should boost your battery for 10 extra hours, and 25 for an iPod. It will be available in June for $249.99, and other products by Goal ZERO will unveil later in the year.
