Go to the gym and play Wii Sports

NoYes

I think this story can be filed under “things I should have thought of first.” Personal trainer Zander Urquhart has developed an exercise regimen involving the Wii.

When I say “involving” the Wii, I mean that all they do is play Wii Sports. He got the idea from watching a kid playing a Wii one day. He originally targeted youth, but soon discovered that adults enjoyed it just as much.

Apparently, you can burn around 125 calories during each 15-minute session. This is similar to what you’d burn from jogging, cycling or playing tennis. According to John Moore University, you can burn around 1830 calories from playing about 12.2 hours per week, enough to shift 27 pounds. I guess I need to start “exercising” more.

Why, just buy a Wii system and save your self the gym membership…not including having to wait in line. I bet the gym probably make you bring your own wiimote. Imagine nasty old sweetie wiimote after the first dude!

The only problem still lies with finding one. I hope Nintendo can find a way to increase production, I’ve yet to see a single Wii in stock in my area.
