		<description><![CDATA[Where I think this thing could gain a real advantage is in terms of obstacle avoidance.  A HUD presenting an alert symbol discreetly on the left or right side if a car is beside or slightly behind it could be a real boon for avoiding blind-spot collisions. ]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I drove various models of GM cars, many Pontiacs as I recall, nearly 20 years ago that had the HUD feature.  Even then it was a cool feature, however HUD in a car is just that, &quot;cool&quot;.  Few, if any, modern cars need constant monitoring by the driver.  At best this will be novelty, at worst a distraction.  Personally I liked my 2002 Saab 93 in which I could turn off virtually the entire dash by pushing the Night Panel button...]]></description>
