Gitzo has been some of the best Europe photography equipment makers. Originated from French, now owned by Italian-made Manfrotto, but both are presently in the hands of a British international media Group. So how would you like to have Europe finest photography equipment with colorful history from a British, French and an Italian?

gitzo

If it eases you mind, Gitzo is made in Italian with craftsmanship often compared to the Ferrari of photography equipment. It is expensive but worth every penny. Imagines a Chinese knock-off Gitzo tripod costs more than $300, that’s how expensive Gitzo is.

But relax, the latest Gitzo ball heads will not cost you arms and legs compare to a RRS or a Novoflex. The new off-center series 3 ball heads feature Spring Assisted Double Locking System (SADL) and with weight reduction of 15-17% compared to previous models. The internal components and mechanisms have been completely redesigned and re-engineered. The benefit of off-set ball head allows downward angle at 90 degree.

The GH2750 and GH3750 support up to 11lb and 17.6lb respectively. Both models include a standard or with quick release version.

Pricing listed below with availability now

GH3750 ($250)
GH3750QR ($290)
