I’m not a huge fan of smaller laptops, mostly because I hate sacrificing my larger screens. However, when I’m traveling to shows I do get burdened by carrying around a larger (and bulkier) laptop. So I’m almost thinking that I need to get a smaller notebook just so I’m not weighed down. This new one from Gigabyte looks pretty appealing.

The W251 G5 is a sleek-looking little 12.1-inch notebook, which has even won the 2006 G-Mark Award for its design. It doesn’t just stop with a great exterior, there’s plenty to love on the inside too. It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5300, 2GB of RAM and 120GB of storage space.

It’s also got some niceties like Bluetooth connectivity, WiFi and a 1.3MP webcam. The price is pretty decent at around $975
