		<description><![CDATA[Unless they get the price to $900 or less, I really can&#039;t see how these will ever compete with the MacBook Air.  I&#039;m not religiously obsessed with mac&#039;s like some, I&#039;d be more than happy to stick Ubuntu on any of these ultrabooks.  


But the build quality of the Macbook Air is just really good, Apple have a great design with their unibody construction.  And the Air&#039;s are currently the same spec or outspec the competition.

I don&#039;t know many people who have used Windows and OS X and prefer Windows.  I use both frequently, and as a developer OS X wins hands down.  It&#039;s not a dealbreaker - like I said, Ubuntu is as good as OS X nowadays - but if the price is negligible I think the Air&#039;s hardware is just more refined. 

(once you go beyond the chassis, they all tend to be the same inside anyway - unless you have a burning need for a fingerprint reader or something....)]]></description>
