We’ve seen many rugged laptops that could hold up to very harsh work environment. How would you like a rugged tablet PC? Getac, a tablet PC manufacturer unveiled a rugged tablet PC called V100 that is made to be resistant to extreme environment.

It is build with a magnesium alloy case and uses shock-molded removable HDD to protect data inside the tablet PC. The HDD is also protected from temperature abnormalities such as cold weather with its optional heater to allow it to work in temperatures as low as minus twenty degrees Celsius.

The V100 weight at 2.2kg with dimensions of 28 x 22 x 5cm and features 10.4-inch display, 1.3-megapixel camera, Intel Core Duo ULV running at 1.2Ghz and 2GB DDR2 RAM. The V100 is available immediately for $3,964.
