Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is only a few days away from release. If you just can’t wait to rock out to the new music, fear not, there are a couple of ways to satisfy your inner rocker.

Guitar Hero III on iTunes

First, if you have an Xbox 360, you can download the demo on Xbox Live and play 5 of the new tracks including Even Flow by Pearl Jam and The Metal by Tenacious D. If you’re not careful, The Metal will kick your ass. However, if you’re a long-time rocker, you shouldn’t have too much trouble with it.

The other option is to go download the soundtrack off of iTunes. That option is going to set you back over $60 though. It might be cool to go through and pick out a few songs that you’re not familiar with. Though I don’t care how many times you listen to Through the Fire and Flames, you’re going to fail it over and over.

So the soundtrack costs more then the actual game? What where they thinking? I’m happy just playing the demo until the actual game comes out.
