Get Pets Ready for Halloween

I came across the image of the Star Wars Yoda pet costume at notcot.org and it reminded me of an email I received some time ago. These images are just too funny, I had to share. Even if you've seen them before, they're always fun to look at, unless you're a fanatic dog lover and find this to be a form of animal cruelty.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be. But on further examination it is looking suspiciously like the Monkey King (a Chinese legendary character). Either that, or its Abu the Monkey with a magical wand. Any other guesses?
