Regardless of drill or laser.

And of course, not going to the dentist until it hurts means that you always wait until the tooth decay goes deep enough the attack the nerves. The dentist has to clean all of that out again or the decay will continue below the filling.

Just get yourself an anesthetic injection. I can’t believe health care is that bad in US…
