The insane high cost in audiophile’s equipment doesn’t surprise us anymore than people spending in million dollar automobiles. The outrageous audio gear doesn’t make news the cost is less than regular joe pay grade automobile. There’s one German finest has a quite bargain reference CD player if you count it by weight. Burmester USA, a division of Burmester Audiosysteme introduces a cutting-edge, state of the art Reference CD player that weighted about 190lb. The 069 Reference Line CD Player uses an in-house proprietary hand-made belt drive is backed with a 4-mm thick, extremely precise spindle to eliminate reading error.

The drive unit is rests in a massive double-chamber housing in a solid aluminum capsule block and proprietary aluminum spiked base to further isolate it from mechanical and acoustic interference, internal and externally. The 069 is fully balanced and digital path is equipped with a newly developed and highly precise 96 and 192-kHz oscillators.
