If you’d like to use a bit of solar-power to charge your phone but don’t want to carry around yet another electronic device. You can just use this as a holster and then when needed use the solar panel that is attached to it.

The Universal Charging Holster from Genesis will be designed for 2.5/3G phones from DoCoMo, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Siemens as well as a few others. They also come with sheaths, which are meant for the “design conscious” but I didn’t see any actual pictures on what that would look like.

There aren’t a lot of details on it right now, like how much it will cost. However, the site does have a full list of the individual phones that there will be holsters for.
