GDC has been full of all kinds of announcements. Unfortunately most companies have a habit of making big announcements, then leaving out all of the juicy details. But we’ll take what we can get. The latest announcement comes from Epic Games. No, they’re not getting bought out by Microsoft, but they are working on Gears of War 2.
The announcement lacked any details relating to the gameplay, but it did, however, mention that it would be an Xbox 360 exclusive. There was also a brief teaser trailer shown, but unfortunately I haven’t seen it just yet.
If you were looking for a release date, they listed it as November 2008. For those of you that make your holiday wish lists early, you might want to write this one down.
