Here's something... I have experienced a system power down several times when flying into a hot pink and bright white area on he screen. was irritating but I never figured out why. The other day while doing this daily quest, I flew too directly into it and the system powered down...only this time it would not boot back up. I have been playing e-mail tech service with GW for three days now to no avail. I'll try to remember to let ya know what we find...if it seems relevant.

Well... I ordered it Sunday Nite and received it last nite (4/1). Spent last nite and this morning in assembly, porting apps, etc. Have not run enough to find any issues performance-wise, but would agree with the review here as far as cabinet appearance and opening/closing various trapdoors.
Everyone has their preferrences, but I found the mouse and keyboard to be cheesy. Replaced them both before I even started porting apps with an old wireless keyboard and mouse.
The only performance I have checked is WOW. This is heaven compared to my old duo-core with GeForce(512M). With res set at 1920x1200 and all graphics adjustments maxed, I still ran 61FPS in Dalaran. Whoo-hoo!
I'll update if I come across any issues, but so far It is awesome for the price.

Well, March 16 has come and gone.... A whole week later and still nothing on the Gateway site regarding this uber-system...

Newegg had a lower model for a week or two, but it no longer it listed there...

What is up with Gateway... anyone?

Hi RMalinosky,

We have updated the article, and the system will likely to ship from March 16th with the same asking price. We'll have another mid-range gaming rig coming from Gateway, stay put.

Thanks,
Daniel

I've read about this system since October 2008... For the price and features, it seemed unbeatable....

I've yet to see anyone actually stock it (including the Gateway website)...

With time, the price seeems to be less and less attractive. CPUs, memory, and SSD prices have been declining and continue to do so...

When and where will I be able to buy this system? Anyone have any information?
