GameStop will soon sell iOS devices and is now taking trades on iPhone and more

If you are a gamer that likes to trade in your used games and hardware to get credit for new hardware and games, you will have a new choice for taking in your old iOS hardware soon. GameStop is reportedly going to start selling iOS devices soon and has started a trade-in program for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad in stores. The trades of the old Apple gear are good for store credits.

There will probably be a good deal of used iPhones on the market shortly with the iPhone 5 reportedly coming on all major carriers in the sites. That would be the first time in the US that the iPhone was on networks in the States other than AT&T and Verizon. That would allow a lot more people to be able to buy the smartphone on their preferred network.

An influx of new iPhones across networks would mean old hardware lying around to be traded in. I wonder if there is a chance that GameStop might start selling new iOS hardware too. Generally, it sells most of the stuff it takes on trade as a new product too.
